Preview: Brett Smith Alert! Brett Smith Alert! It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a chance to watch Smith, so I’m pumped about this game. He’s been everything that I hoped he would be going into this year. Can he continue to do it against a pretty talented Colorado State D? CSU has struggled against pass heavy offenses thus far, but Wyoming runs the ball quite a bit. Their linebackers could give Smith and Co. problems. However, their best player Shaq Barrett is doubtful with an ankle injury. I really hope he can go. His pass rushing skills would be put to the test against the mobile Smith. If he can’t go, Davis and James will really need to step up. Going to the other way, I want to key in on Gilmore and Richburg. With the exception of Yarbrough, the Pokes front seven is average. If they can control the LOS and get Gilmore the ball they might pull off the upset in Laramie.
